This Privacy Policy explains how Tixsy ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our websites, apps, and services (the "Services"). Tixsy is a marketplace for discovering and buying tickets to events.

1. Information we collect

• Account & profile: your name, email, phone number, date of birth, gender, password, and any profile photo or details you add.
• Purchases: the events and tickets you buy and your order history. Card payments are handled by our third-party payment processor — we do not store your full card number.
• Usage & device data: pages viewed, links clicked, IP address, browser and device type, and how you arrived (including promoter/tracking links so organizers can measure their campaigns).
• Sign in with Google: if you use it, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google — never your Google password.

2. How we use your information

• Create and secure your account and process your ticket purchases, payments, and refunds.
• Send transactional messages about your orders and the events you buy.
• Give organizers the attendee information and analytics for their own events.
• Operate, maintain, and improve the Services and prevent fraud and abuse.
• Send marketing messages where permitted (you can opt out anytime) and comply with the law.

3. How we share your information

• Event organizers: when you buy a ticket, we share the information the organizer needs to fulfill and manage your order (such as your name, email, and order details).
• Service providers: trusted vendors that run the Services for us — including payment processing, hosting, database, storage, and authentication — who may use your information only on our instructions.
• Legal & safety, and business transfers: when required by law or to protect rights and safety, and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, secure the Services, and understand how they're used. Some are essential for the site to work; you can control non-essential cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.

5. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations (including financial records for purchases), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. After that, we delete or de-identify it.
